ERGO SA was established in 1972 by the Greek civil engineer Dimitrios L. Govdelas. Since the beginning there was a constant search for creation of a construction company that would take up with consistency, effectiveness and vivacity into a wide range of the Hellenic construction sector of private and public works.


From 1972 up to nowadays ERGO SA has come about a very important role in local communities, offering them significant and major infrastructure projects which have contributed substantially to the development and the evolution of the Aegean islands.


Today, the company's management is administrated by Leonidas D. Govdelas (civil engineer of the Hellenic Polytechnic School), holder of a 4th class Degree which is valid for every type and category of the public works construction sector in Greece. The headquarters of ERGO SA are located in the island of Syros (Cyclades district) and the administration office is situated in downtown Athens, 9 Kanigos st.
